 ‘Forster Lakeview’

This holiday house is situated high on the hill in Angler's Paradise. It has fabulous lake views which take in the Forster-Tuncurry bridge, Wallis Lake and the hinterland. This house accommodates eight people but sleeps up to ten people if 2/3 families wish to stay with a larger number of children. All adult bookings are welcome on the proviso that they do not disturb the neighbours with noise, day or night.

Centrally  Located

'Forster Lakeview's' central position in the area of Forster known as Angler's Paradise means that beaches, lake, Aquatic Centre, golf course, restaurants, cafes, bowling club and services club are all only a 2 minute drive away, as is the new Stocklands shopping centre.  It is in a quiet family neighbourhood.

Plenty to Do

Forster is a popular area of the Mid-North Coast. Having access to both fabulous beaches and Wallis Lake there is plenty to do for all holidaymakers. Several boat ramps are nearby as are fabulous beaches, which are patrolled in season. Great seafood is a feature of Forster-Tuncurry and there are several excellent restaurants. Sporting facilities include two 18 hole town golf courses and water activities.

The House

The upstairs is the main living area. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds.

The living/dining area is open plan and has windows on all sides. Ceiling fans in the living areas and all the bedrooms help keep you cool when the seabreezes decide not to favour Forster. There is an LCD television here.

The kitchen is off the dining area. It is an older kitchen and has a dishwasher, a gas stove, and a convection microwave oven, an expresso coffee machine and has plenty of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans to cook up a storm during your holiday here.

A balcony runs the width of the house and has great views of the lake, the bridge and the hinterland.

Downstairs there is a large fourth bedroom. It has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. There is also another living area with another television as well as a DVD player. There is a brand new shower-room with a vanity and a toilet off this room.

There is parking outside for 3-4 vehicles as well and if you have a boat the parking area is flat so easy to park a trailer. There is a hose to hose off your boat on return from its outing. The laundry is also downstairs. It has a tub, washing machine and extra extend-a-line clothesline in case of adverse weather. There is plenty of room to store surfboards and bikes downstairs.

The yard is large and fully fenced. It is surrounded by frangipani trees.

Swimming Pool

A large, concrete in-ground pool has just been completed. Press the button on the feature wall and enjoy the massage jets on your back.  The pool has frangipani trees on one side and will be a beautiful place to relax. Plenty of trees ensure there is shade for you to relax in while watching the children.

For those of you who do not wish to fight the crowds at the beach 'Forster Lakeview' is a wonderful alternative.


We do understand that many families would not consider going away without their four-legged friend. 'Forster Lakeview' is dog-friendly but dogs must be requested on booking. Small dogs are permitted inside at this house but they are not allowed on any of the furniture or beds. They are also not to be left inside the house in your absence. We do request that you bring your dog's own bedding to make him or her feel at home. There are dog bowls for your dog. The yard is large and fully-fenced and secure and has lots of trees for shade. Please note that the side fence is 1.2 metres high so if you have an escape artist this house may not be suitable for your dog. All dogs must have current vaccination papers and be treated for ticks and fleas.  Please note that there is pool fencing around the pool. Very small dogs may (??) fit through or under the fencing and it will be your responsibility to ensure your dog keeps away from the fencing. Dogs are not permitted in the pool area or in the pool. The side fence down one side is 1.2 metres high so if your dog can jump this height this house may not be the best option for you.  Please note that only dogs over the age of 12 months may stay at our houses.

Sleeping Configuration

This house is ideal for two families as there are two separate living areas.


Bedroom 1: 1 x queen bed

Bedroom 2: 1 x double bed

Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds


Bedroom 4: 1 x queen bed & 1 x set of double bunks

Bedlinen is included. Please bring your own beach/bath towels and bathmats or if preferred these may be hired for $6.00 each. We have a limited number of port-a-cots and high chairs available at no charge. These need to be requested on booking. Availability cannot be guaranteed.
